A FINANCIAL TRAINER TO THE GYM?
Charles Schwab wanted to engage with their audience on social around the New Year. So, in a break from their usually straightforward marketing, we used comedy to inspire potential clients to think about their financial future.
Using the insight that the New Year brings a renewed focus on physical fitness, but not financial fitness, we sent a fake financial trainer to a real gym, and used hidden cameras to capture all that ensued.
On January 17th (the day resolutions usually fizzle out), we launched videos that spoke to audiences and showed them that even though they might skip the treadmill, they can feel good about focusing on concrete economic goals. Because in the long run, financial fitness does have a place in healthy living.
